1. Introduction

Find it Israel (“the App”) is a geography trivia game focused on Israeli geography. Your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

2. Information We Collect

We collect only the minimum data needed to run the game:

• User-provided nickname and avatar – displayed on leaderboards and in multiplayer lobbies.
• Randomly generated user ID (UUID) – created on first launch to track your game progress. It is not linked to your real identity.
• Game scores and statistics – rounds played, scores, and game history stored on our server.
• Device name – optionally sent during registration for analytics; never shared with third parties.

We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, precise location, photos, contacts, or any other personally identifiable information.

3. Location Data

The App displays maps for gameplay using a mapping SDK that references iOS location APIs. We never request, access, or store your real-world location. The location-permission description shown on iOS is required by Apple because the mapping SDK links Core Location symbols; you do not need to allow location access to play.

4. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and improve the game experience.
• To display leaderboards and multiplayer lobby information.
• To maintain game statistics and track your personal bests.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your data with any third parties. Nickname and avatar are visible to other players in multiplayer sessions.

6. Data Retention

Your game data is retained as long as your account exists. Since accounts are anonymous (UUID-based), you can effectively “reset” by reinstalling the app, which generates a new UUID. You may also request deletion by contacting us.

7. Children’s Privacy

The App does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The data we collect (random UUID, nickname, scores) does not constitute personal information under COPPA.

8. Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS/WSS) between the app and our servers.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
